HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

I decided to make my dad a card this year for Father's Day. (I feel like I'm 5 again.) I used some left over toe-kick, had my installer, Lamont, cut it to size, and block printed a deer on it. I chose the wood to make it a little more maculine and the deer...well, mostly because I already had that block carved and ready to go and also because I wanted to write 'deer dad' on it. I also remade a few other cards just for the fun of it.

I mailed the wood card to my dad last week to insure it would make it to Frankfurt on time...I hope he like it!

Oh Deer! (Part 1)

For Christmas my boss drew my name for our annual secret Santa game. Apparently, I'd been talking about wanting deer antlers and he's a hunter. So, it was perfectly natural to get a deer skull as a Christmas present from him...a little awkward for the rest of my co-workers, but awesome for me!

I've been working on it on and off for the last few weeks and I think I'm finally happy with it.
