Happy Heart Day

These are from last week end, but seem appropriate for today. We baked some yummy double chocolate chip cookies and made real hot chocolate with Aldi bought heart marshmallows, while we finished Roy's valentines for school.

Also, related to Valentines Day, Pastor preached on the ultimate agape love that Christ shows us on a daily basis. It's incredible that he would love such an imperfect, constantly failing human being enough to sacrifice himself for me. And it goes beyond me. Scripture commands that we love the way Christ loved. It seems so difficult to the love the people in our lives that seemingly don't deserve it, but that's exactly what Christ did for us. So now the challenge is to love the people in my live they way Christ loved me.

All the walls our out, electrical and plumbing moved and they are staring drywall next week. To celebrate we went to West End for coffee and found an option for the dinning room light fixture and possible dining room chairs.

Henry Turns 3

Can hardly believe he's three! Daddy is out of town on business, so we decided to celebrate at breakfast with almond waffles with whip cream and blueberries.

Hair cuts

Roy wanted a mohawk, so Ava's Nini did her best. A little short for my liking, but they love it!

Science Center

Uncle Joel and Auntie Sherrie got us passes for the Science Center. We had a few showings today, so we decided it was a good time to check it out. The boys loved it!

New Year's Eve Fondue

My mom often did fondue for New Year's Eve, so I decided to carry on the tradition. Chocolate was their favorite. And we didn't make it to midnight!
