Left Over Banner...

I had some left-over banners that I made for a wedding and decided to dress up my craft/guest room windows. Someday I'll make curtains, but for now I like how playful this looks:

Ceilings

I have a strange infatuation with painting the ceilings in my house. I just think it's a shame that we often forget that surface in a room ...and if I were rich, oh boy, would I have fun finishing my ceilings. For now, paint will have to do!

sneak peak

After several months of hard work and microwave dinners, our kitchen remodel is coming to an end. We are still waiting on the hood and a few other minor details before I post the big reveal, but here is a little sneak peak:

Oh Deer! (Part 1)

For Christmas my boss drew my name for our annual secret Santa game. Apparently, I'd been talking about wanting deer antlers and he's a hunter. So, it was perfectly natural to get a deer skull as a Christmas present from him...a little awkward for the rest of my co-workers, but awesome for me!
