My darling husband and I purchased our first house almost two years ago. It’s a 1940’s, New England Colonial-style house that came with creaky stairs, chipped paint and scratched hardwood floors – all of which we absolutely love! We have my been working diligently on making it our home and remodeled the kitchen last summer. In doing so, we exposed this awesome brick chimney. You might recognize it from some of our merchandise photos. Over the last year I collected some goodies that coordinate perfectly with the red brick. …and this is what welcomes you into our home!

another throw pillow for a sofa of bed? So I talked Leslie into helping me screen print a few random pieces of fabric and sewed them into pillows as gifts...and if people like them enough, we might just add them to UrbanPosture's standard inventory! So me know what you think!
Mother-in-law: REAL VANILLA!! You need 1 bottle of Myer's Dark Rum and 4-6 vanilla beans. Place the bean in the rum; store in the dark for about 6 months and voilà, you have real vanilla. Here comes the handmade part: I knit a cover for the bottle that is both festive and function, because it has to be stored in the dark. Don't forget to add a tag with directions!
